FOOD

DAY ONE
Monday, September 26th
Breakfast: Egg with salsa, avocado, and cooked spinach. The spinach
needed something more to be desired by itself.

DAY TWO
Tuesday September 27th, 2011
Breakfast: Eggs with extra egg whites served with warmed black beans, avocado and tomato.

Lunch: Whole wheat wrap with hummus, tomato, turkey breast, avocado, sprouts.

Dinner: Pan cooked tilapia seasoned with salt, pepper and lemon juice

Midnight: 2 glasses of Zolo Merlot and handful of lightly salted black beans. Large glass of water before bed.

DAY THREE
Wednesday September 28th, 2011

Breakfast: Attempted omelette turned into egg scramble with spinach, mushrooms and diced cherry tomatoes. Ugly, but delicious. Ate on the drive to work.

Lunch: Whole wheat wrap with turkey, avocado, hummus, spinach leaves, sprouts, tomatoes, black beans. This wrap was suppose to close, ended up eating with a fork.

Dinner: Purchased rotisserie chicken, shredded. Put in salad with spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, red onions, and a dash of balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Did I mention this blog keeps my cluttered mind sane??

The 4 Hour Body

Diet? What a crazy thought. But yes it's true, I think I should go on a diet. Why? I currently can't fit into winter clothing... and it's September. And even though I live in the desert where it doesn't get all that cold, I still think a little change could do me right.

So step one. Measurements.
September 27th
-waist 30 inches
-hips 37 inches
-thigh 22.5 inches
-bust 36.5 inches
-chest (forgot)

Step two. Scale. (Don't own one yet)
Honestly though, weight itself is the least of my worries. I may loose fat and gain muscle and remain the same weight. But being able to track progress of any sort will be what helps me progress.

Step three.
Shop according the 4HB. What's the 4HB, you ask. Well reader, it's Tim Ferriss' book.

Step four. Gauge progress and see what I eat.
I'm not anywhere close to progress. Instead, i'll start with food. Because we all love a little food porn. All starting next post.

Step five. Enjoy binge day. (Still choosing which day)

Burning Man 2011

I spent Labor day weekend in BLACK ROCK CITY, NEVADA for the one and only BURNING MAN! Flying into San Francisco and then making the drive into the high elevation desert took about six hours, but was well worth it. These pictures can only do so much justice to this event. The people, the attitude, the ambiance, simply cannot be captured. Highlights in Black Rock City are the art, the participation of the community and how at every moment I belonged.

Me at the Man.

The Temple.

Love and everything it leads to.

Making love to LOVE.

Zan & I dressed in our Fairy Wing best.

All of the ladies, before The Burn.

Oh how exciting, his arms are moving!

Finally a tree I am not allergic to.

What an unbelievably gorgeous temple.
I spent a long while remembering loved ones,
praying, crying, and appreciating
the things that I am blessed with.
